BT excellence awards

Arkipelago was part of a group of less than 40 finalists this year invited to attend an exclusive event in London, at which the winners of the various categories were announced. The host of the 2000 awards was Alison Ritchie, Director, BT Business Services Operations and CPO for the BT group.

BT evaluated each of the companies on innovation, competitiveness, productivity, delivery performance, responsiveness and flexibility.

Out of all of the vendors for the year 2000, BT chose a select list of companies to make up the following categories:

Quality of Product and Service
Reduced Whole Life Costs
Contribution to Environmental Improvement
Innovation and Responsiveness
Breaking the Mould

Arkipelago was selected along with vendors such as Oracle and Ericsson for Reduced Whole Life Costs at BT. The category winner for the year 2000 was Oracle.
